A drama of love and betrayal between a young student and his tutor's wife reveals the "dark flower of passionate love." Flo Gibson's poignant narration in a mature, full voice is most appropriate for the period and reveals the emotional turmoil of illicit love. Although the title is not well-known, it is an excellent choice for audio format.
